WHERE CAN I PARK MY CAR?
If you just need parking whilst you unload your belongings, we recommend that you bring some change or use the mobile parking app, RingGo for the pay and display bays on Hanley Street itself. There's also a car park directly opposite the residence if you're staying for longer than a couple of hours, which will work out cheaper.
For long term parking for the duration of your stay at Volume Works, an annual parking permit for parking bays near Volume Works can be purchased from Birmingham City Council here for just £250. These are limited in number.
Alternatively, you can contact the operators of the car parks nearby and ask about long term parking permits.
IS VOLUME WORKS WITHIN THE CLEAN AIR ZONE?
Yes. To improve air quality within the city, Birmingham introduced a Category D Clean Air Zone on 1 June 2021 and will charge owners of the most high-polluting vehicles to drive within certain parts of the city centre, unless they have an exemption. A resident who meets specific eligibility criteria, may be able to apply for a temporary exemption permit here.
